I received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1984, with a concentration in Painting. I studied with various members of The Hairy Who and Chicago Imagists. These included Roger Brown, Christina Ramberg and Karl Wirsum. For some years I did Environmental and Performance-Installation work with the group Projects for a New Millenium. I now devote myself almost exclusively to Fine Art Photography, in which I am solely self-taught. I have shown my work in New York, Chicago, New Haven, Denver, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Rome, Barcelona and in various print and on-line venues.
